Schedule called for...
3 miles @ 7:25
4 x 800m @ 3:21
3 miles @7:03
I jogged over to the track around Athens High for warm-up. Then I started on the workout using the quarter mile markers to gauge distance. I headed down the new greenway and then took my usual shortcut home for the last 4 miles of the workout.
3 miles at Goal Pace. I've got to get more consistent with these splits.
- 7:31
- 7:21
- 7:19
- 3:13
- 3:26
- 3:17
- 3:20
- 7:07
- 7:10
- 7:32 (uphill, a little rough, and a couple of gates to go through so I'm pleased with this split)
I'll probably do my long run Sunday. My legs feel great and this is by far my best week of training. I really hope I can ride this momentum until the next recovery week, which is Halloween week. I have a very difficult two weeks ahead, though. I'm scheduled for runs of 16, 18, and 20 miles. Those are distances that seemed unfathomable just a few short weeks ago. Heh, who am I kidding? They still seem unfathomable!

You're really progressing quickly! Glad you're not running the 15K tomorrow or I'd be toast!
Eric?
Eric!
Where are you?
I just don't see the day coming that I'll finish a race of any distance ahead of Mike Greene!
Thanks for noticing my lack of posts, Tanjie! My Oct. 15 post explains, but doesn't excuse, my absence.
Er... That's the Oct. 13th, not the Oct. 15th post that explains my absence. The lack of rest is affecting my brain as well as my legs!
