Tried to do my tempo workout today. The plan was 2x7:25, 2x7:03, 2x7:25. Well, no so much. I did two 8 minute warmup miles. Then I did 7:15, 7:13, and 7:05. Then my hamstring asked me nicely to stop. So, I listened. It wasn't terrible pain, but it wasn't pleasant at all. So I jogged the 1.7-ish back home from the track at about an 8:30 pace. Soon, I'll get a good tempo workout in.
I'll rest (gym workouts only) until my long run (12 miler) Saturday morning.
